Netflix Raising Prices For Two Of Its Subscription Plans

Netflix is increasing the prices for two of its U.S. subscription plans, beginning in November.
According to the streaming service’s signup page, the most basic plan remains $7.99 a month. But the mid-priced Netflix option enabling streaming on two devices at once has gone up to $10.99 from $9.99 a month, and the highest-end subscription, with high-definition streaming on up to four devices, is now $13.99, up from $11.99.

Verizon’s Media Chief, Marni Walden, Sets Plan To Exit In February 2018

Marni Walden, Verizon executive VP and president of global media, said today she will shift into an advisory role as of Dec. 31 and leave the company altogether in February 2018.
While not necessarily someone most Hollywood veterans know well, Walden’s purview was broad and as Verizon has matured and added media assets, her profile has increased. At one point, she was viewed as a potential successor to Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam.
